U.S. Olympic Team Finalized

After a long winter and spring of competitio­n in various different class championsh­ips and World Sailing World Cup events around the globe, US Sailing Team Sperry has arrived a final roster of athletes who will compete at the 2016 Olympic Regatta on Rio’s Guanabara Bay.

“The athletes who ultimately won selection to the team had to earn it,” says managing director of U.S. Olympic Sailing Josh Adams. “The athletes selected to the team not only proved they belong in Rio, but that this is a team of Olympic sailors Americans can be proud of.”

Race fans are invited to help send off the team at an official party at the Houston Yacht Club on July 27, at which team co-sponsor Sunbrella will present Uncharted Waters, a feature-length film about the U.S. Olympic sailing team.
