Connect the main line, dropper line and leader with barrel swivels. Build the dropper line with 21⁄ feet 2 of 60-pound monofilament with the sinker at the bottom. This keeps the plug well off the bottom and out of the gunk. The leader consists of 41⁄ feet of 50-pound fluorocarbon 2 line with a snap swivel to attach the plug. Since productive depths vary, bring cannonball sinkers from 6 to 40 ounces.
