San Antonio Board of REALTORS® installs 2021 leadership
The San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR) installed its new leadership team as well as members of the 2021 Board of Directors and Executive Committee during its annual Installation ceremony on Friday, Dec. 11. SABOR also recognized nine award winners across several categories for outstanding achievements in real estate.
Cher Miculka was sworn in as SABOR’s 2021 Chairman of the Board. With a term beginning January 1, the chairman steers the Board of Directors and works in concert with SABOR’s President and CEO to implement the policies and vision set forth by the members. With a membership numbering over 13,000, SABOR looks to its members to drive its strategies which in turn affect the real estate industry in San Antonio and the surrounding areas.
“As Chairman, Cher will help lead the association forward and continue to advocate for SABOR and its members as the best resource for buyers and sellers in the San Antonio and surrounding areas,” said Gilbert S. Gonzalez, SABOR’s CEO. “This year we are proud to honor our members who have shown excellence in their field, as well as welcoming our 2021 Board of Directors.”
Other officers installed to the Board of Directors were REALTOR® members Tracie Hasslocher as Chair-Elect and Sara Briseño Gerrish as Secretary/Treasurer. Altogether, SABOR has 18 members on its Board of Directors.
SABOR also recognized nine award winners for their outstanding service in the real estate industry during 2020. Leesa Harper Rispoli received the 2020 REALTOR® Broker of the Year Award;
Eric Johnson is the 2020 REALTOR® Salesperson of the Year; Kristine Trcka received the 2020 REALTOR® Rookie of the Year Award; Michelle Ellis is the 2020 Manager of the Year; Lorena Jauregui de Birdy received the 2020 Property Management Specialist of the Year
Award; Lisa Grove was the recipient of the Commercial Award; Gwen Derry is the Affiliate of the Year; Cathy Heshmat received the 2020 Good Neighbor Award; and Judy Dalrymple received the Lifetime Distinguished Service Award.
