No. 22 TCU coasts by Oklahoma State

FORT WORTH — Mike Miles Jr. had 15 points in his first game in three weeks and five other TCU players also scored in double figures as the 22nd-ranked Horned Frogs snapped a four-game losing streak with a 100-75 win over Oklahoma State on Saturday.

The Horned Frogs (18-9, 7-7 Big 12) had lost five of their last six games, a stretch that began with a Jan. 28 loss at Mississipp­i State — when Miles hyperexten­ded his right knee in the opening four minutes.

Emanuel Miller had 18 points to lead TCU, which shot a staggering season-high 68.4 percent (39-of-57) from the field. Damion Baugh had 16 points with 11 assists. Shahada Wells had 15 points, Chuck O’Bannon 12 and Micah Peavy 10.

Bryce Thompson had 18 points and John-Michael White 15 for the Cowboys (16-11, 7-7). Before a home loss Tuesday to fifth-ranked Kansas, they had a five-game winning streak that included a win over TCU, which was without Miles or big man Eddie Lampkin in that game.

Cason Wallace and Oscar Tshiebwe each scored 16 points as the host Wildcats rushed to a big lead and upset the Volunteers.

Tennessee (20-7, 9-5 SEC) trailed by 20 points at halftime and lost in its first game since taking down No. 1 Alabama.

TEXAS TECH 78 WEST VIRGINIA 72

Jaylon Tyson had a career-high 27 points and Fardaws Aimaq scored the Red Raiders’ last 8 points, leading his team to a road win over the Mountainee­rs.

Tyson and Aimaq combined for 25 secondhalf points for Texas

Tech (15-12, 4-10), which started the day tied with Oklahoma for last in the Big 12, a game back of West Virginia (15-12, 4-10).

NO. 7 VIRGINIA 57 NOTRE DAME 55

Kihei Clark scored 15 points, including a pair of critical free throws with 22.6 seconds left, and became the Cavaliers’ career assist leader in a narrow home win over the Fighting Irish.

With Notre Dame closing to 55-54, Clark converted both ends of a one-and-one. Trey Wertz made the front end of a one-and-one with 3.9 seconds left for Notre Dame but missed the second after a timeout. The ball was tipped out to the Fighting Irish’s Dane Goodwin for a potential game-winning 3-pointer, but his shot bounced off the rim.

NO. 12 KANSAS STATE 61 NO. 19 IOWA STATE 55

Markquis Nowell hit a 3-pointer from near midcourt with 2:42 remaining to help boost the host Wildcats to a win over the Cyclones.

Nowell finished with 20 points and Keyontae Johnson had 15 points for Kansas State (20-7, 8-6 Big 12).

NO. 14 INDIANA 71 ILLINOIS 68

Trayce Jackson-Davis finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds and

Jalen Hood Schifino made two free throws with 30.7 seconds left as the Hoosiers rallied from a 9point second-half deficit to beat the visiting Illini.

Hood-Schifino had 13 points Indiana (19-8, 10-6 Big Ten), which has won nine of its last 11 overall and 15 straight at home.

Isaiah Wong scored 27 points and Nijel Pack finished with 24 as the host Hurricanes topped the Demon Deacons.

Jordan Hawkins scored 20 points as the Huskies used a big second-half run to pick up a home win over the Pirates.

Lou Lopez Sénéchal scored 22 points, including a crucial rainbow jumper late in the fourth quarter, to lead the visiting Huskies to a victory over Maddy Siegrist and the Wildcats.

Dorka Juhász added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Aaliyah Edwards had 13 points and 14 boards for Connecticu­t (24-4, 16-1 Big East).

Caitlin Clark scored 30 points and Monika Czinano added 20 and as the Hawkeyes pulled away in the second half for a win over the host Cornhusker­s.

Iowa (22-5, 14-2) moved a game behind Big Tenleading Indiana with two regular-season games left.

Diamond Miller poured in 29 points and added six rebounds as the visiting Terrapins staved off the Spartans’ fourth-quarter comeback.
