If you like your meals on wheels, take note: There’s a new food truck park, food hall and pop-up bar at The CO-OP SA on the city’s Northeast Side.

Following the closure of the StreetFare SA food truck park on Austin Highway in November, The CO-OP SA owners Stephen Paprocki and Elizabeth Bolger Paprocki reached out to the truck operators to see if they’d be interested in a new home at the Paprockis’ food production facility near the intersection of Wurzbach Parkway and Crosswinds

Way.

“I read about StreetFare closing in the paper and felt really bad for all those businesses. My wife ... suggested I reach out to them. I’ve been wanting to do something with the former micro brewery space we had on property, so I thought, hey, let’s make something of this, and so we did,” Stephen Paprocki said in a media release.

And the desire was strong. So far, seven food trucks have posted up on The CO-OP SA’s grounds. The options include the fried chicken truck Crispy, Go Vegan San Antonio, Malongdo Thai Food, Malik’s Philly’s Phamous Cheesesteaks, grilled pizza specialists Bob & Timmy’s on Wheels, Cajun and Creole offerings from Sauce’s Southern Kitchen and Lumpia Hut Express with Filipino fare.

“Stephen really saved our lives,” Chelsea Sanchez, coowner of Bob & Timmy’s on Wheels, said in the release. “It really means a lot to us that he came to our rescue, and we’re very excited about our new home ... at The CO-OP.”

In addition to the food truck park, The CO-OP SA now also includes an indoor food hall dubbed The Club House at

The CO-OP SA in the former Islla St. Brewing space. The food hall offers picnic tables for diners to enjoy their food truck fare, and a range of games to keep customers entertained.

On Fridays and Saturdays,

CO-OP SA resident business Powered By Plants will serve nonalcoholic cocktails made from gin, tequila and rum alternatives infused with CBD.

The CO-OP SA, 11911 Crosswinds Way, 210-638-8822, thecoopsa.com. Food hall hours: noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Pop-up bar hours: 5-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday
