Bruce H. Boubel
Bruce Horace Boubel went to be with our Lord peacefully on January
30, 2024, at the age of
86. He was born July 15, 1937, in Laredo, Texas to Edward F. and Ada M. Boubel. He enlisted in the Air Force after graduating from Martin High School in Laredo, and served for 25 years, receiving numerous commendations and awards for his faithful service. In 1958 he married Donna Talbot and began raising a family as they moved from base to base. Retiring to San Antonio in 1982, he remained busy through the years by serving at Brookhill Baptist Church as Deacon, Sunday School Director, and Custodian. In retirement he also enjoyed special time with family

and participating in his favorite pastimes: fishing, bowling, coin collecting and watching Houston Astros baseball and
Dallas Cowboys football. A highlight of his and Donna’s senior years was a cruise to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with all their children and spouses, grandchildren, and great grandchildren celebrating with them. He leaves behind beautiful memories of his love, laughter, generosity, and faithfulness.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna T. Boubel; son, Bruce H. Boubel,
Jr.; siblings, Edward C. Boubel, Marvin S. Boubel, Evelyn M. Porter, Elinor L. Greenall, William M. Boubel, Gary A. Boubel, John O. Boubel, and
Frederick H. Boubel.
He is survived by his sister, Charlotte L. Price; daughters, Brenda G. Stoffel (Richard) and Sandra J. Nicholson (David); sons, Clifford A. Boubel, and Christopher M. Boubel; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be February 13, 2024, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Mission Park South. Services will
