Lt. Col. Jeanne N. Stone USAF (Ret.)

Jeanne N. Stone was born on May 13, 1943, to Harold K. Roeder and A. Norene Nelson in Salina Kansas. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmothe­r. She is preceded in death by the love of her life of 41 years, Paul L.L. Stone; and her sister Johnna Devins. She is survived by her beloved sons Paul (Casey) Stone of Costa Mesa California, Carl (Rachel) Stone of Arlington, Texas, and Michael Stone and his exwife Rose of San Antonio, TX; her sister Deanna (Leroy) Adams of Tescott, Kansas; her sister and

brother in-law Barbara (Paul) Miller of Chester New Hampshire.

Jeanne graduated from Halstead Hospital School of Nursing in 1964. She served in the United States Air Force for twenty-two and a half -years. Her duties included working at bases in California, the Philippine­s, Myrtle Beach South Carolina, Chanute AFB Illinois, Misawa Japan, Rhein Main Germany and Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Thanks to all who loved and will miss her, especially Cheryl Smith and Colleen Reeves.

Also, thanks to her loving grandchild­ren, Jeanne J. (Jesse) Wolf, Emily Stone, Paula Stone, Gabriella Stone and numerous nieces and nephews in Kansas, Missouri, and New Hampshire.
