February 25, 1936 - September 13, 2018 everything possible to keep them in school until graduation. Sarah got her Master’s degree at Texas State and later her PhD at Texas A&M University. She taught at Trinity University, UIW and UTSA, where she created a program for adults interested in a second career in teaching. She was an active member of Hospice of San Antonio and Alamo Heights United Methodist Church where she was a teaching leader in Stephen Ministries. Her family and close friends greatly appreciate the loving care she received from May Perez. She is survived by her two children; Bradley and Elisabeth. 5 grandchild­ren; Brooke Fox, Brogan Fox, Austin Ellis, Victoria Fox and Dallas Richards. Sister, Betty Millican and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her sister, Dell Berry. Graveside Funeral service will be Thursday September 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.

She was born February 25, 1936 in Lampasas, Texas and was raised here. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She had a distinguis­hed career in the teaching profession. She taught in the NEISD in San Antonio, where she created a program for young pregnant girls and new mothers teaching child care and nurture, while doing
