More than 30,000 Bexar County voters left the safety and comfort of their homes Tuesday, braving sizzling heat and possible exposure to the deadly coronavirus to make their voices heard at the ballot box. The strong turnout for the primary runoff races was “fantastic,” Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen said.
