Coronavirus coordinator dies
The head of a Bexar County office coordinating the area response to the coronavirus died Tuesday, officials said.
Kyle Coleman, coordinator of the Bexar County Office of Emergency Management, died from an unknown cause, officials said. His death is not believed to be related to the virus.
Monica Ramos, a county spokeswoman, said Coleman was the coordinator since 2012 and had more than 30 years of experience in emergency management. Coleman, who was employed with the county since 1982, was a founding member of the Alamo Area Incident Management team, the first allhazard incident management team in Texas, Ramos said.
