Rachel Feinstein: A finalist from season seven of “Last Comic Standing,” Feinstein counts her former roommate, Amy Schumer, as her best friend. “Dragons Love Tacos”: Magik Theatre is streaming its production of the show, an adaptation of the much-loved children’s picture book about dragons’ love of tacos and the perils that spring up when they eat them with spicy salsa. “Thurgood”: Marc Pouhé stars in a livestreamed solo show exploring the life of Thurgood Marshall, who in 1967 became the first Black justice to serve on the Supreme Court. “Here’s to Hello”: Clamp Light Artist Studios and Gallery is showcasing works by its members designed to introduce themselves to the community. The artists are Jose Villalobos, Sarah Fox, Raul Rene Gonzalez, Alethia Jones, Randy Guthmiller, Ursula Zavala, Taylor Galvan, Xavier Gilmore, Sara Corley Martinez and Cassie Gnehm. The works can be seen through the gallery windows, though visitors can also make appointments to come inside to get a closer look.

Artist of the Year exhibit: The San Antonio Art League and Museum presents a one-man show by photographer Ansen Seale, its 2020 artist of the year. “After Carolee: Tender and
Fierce”: Tribute to artist Carolee Schneemann, who was in residence at Artpace in 1999 and who died in 2019. The exhibit also includes works by more than a dozen female artists with Texas ties whose work connects with hers. Runs through April 25, Artpace, 445 N. Main Ave. Viewable

“But Always Near Poets”:
Artist Andie Flores, who grew up in San Antonio and is based in Austin, created an immersive video installation that includes a look at her childhood, including videos shot by her parents. Runs through Jan. 29, Presa House Gallery, 725 S. Presa. Open by appointment. 210-913-5842, presahouse.com.
“Please Form a Straight Line”:
The thought-provoking group show explores how bodies move through various spaces, including how that movement is sometimes restricted. It includes works by Jamal Cyrus, Maggie Evans, Benjamin S. Jones, Frances Lightbound, Jingjing Lin, Mark Menjivar, Jorge Villarreal and Yuge Zhou. Also on display: “A Relationship with Flight” by Ryan Takaba, “Sanctuary City Project” by Sergio De a La Torre and Chris Treggiari; and “Objects of Aggression” by Theresa Newsome. Book signing: Melvin E. Edwards, a former journalist and columnist who became a speechwriter for former Texas governor Rick Perry, will sign copies of his book “The Eyes of Texans: From Slavery to the Texas Capitol.” His book chronicles 200 years of American and Texas history as seen through the eyes of his ancestors, starting with Isaac Bladen, who was born into slavery in Maryland and moved to Texas in 1844. Carver cancellation
The Carver Community Cultural Center has canceled the Jan. 23 performance by Hiplet Ballerinas because of the city’s escalating coronavirus cases.
Ticket holders can obtain refunds at points-of-purchase.
