DONAL MORGIN LUNDY

September 17, 1944 - January 14, 2021

Donal Morgin Lundy passed away at the age of 76 in San Antonio, TX on January 14, 2021. He was born in Lucedale, MS on September 17, 1944 to J.G. and Minnie Lundy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife: Judy Lundy; Children: Donal M. Lundy, II (Veronica), Bryan Lundy (Ivie); stepchildren: Trey Mcmahon (Charlotte), Michael Mcmahon; grandchildren: Lauren Lundy, David Lundy, Emma Lundy, Noah Lundy, Mickayla Medrano, Michayella Medrano, Kyndall Mcmahon, Blake Mcmahon; siblings: James Lundy, Rosia Weber, Shirley Pace; numerous extended family members and friends.

Donal was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He graduated from Crestview High School in Florida in June 1962. He joined the Air Force in August 1962 and was assigned to a Security Police Squadron where he served at a few different bases until he separated from service in August 1968. He joined the Reserves and worked Civil

Service where he remained until retiring in 2000. He was caring, loving, and always concerned for others. He was an active member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. He will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Donal will take place on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm at Sunset Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 9am at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Due to Covid restrictions, the burial will be for immediate family only.
