NOTABLE
The Spurs and Celtics split a pair of meetings last season, with each team winning on the other’s home floor. Boston’s 135-115 victory at the AT&T Center on Nov. 9 of last season snapped a seven-game losing skid in San Antonio. A four-time All-star, Boston’s Walker has appeared in four games after missing the first 11 of the season with a knee injury. He is averaging 17 points and 4.8 assists.
Earlier this season, Brown and Tatum became the third pair of teammates in the past 20 seasons to total at least 250 points in their team’s first 10 games. The others were Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’neal of the L.A. Lakers in 2001-02, and Golden State’s Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, who accomplished that three times from 2016-19.
