Aggies plan to open spring drills March 22
Texas A&M players will get a spring break starting March 19 and a few days later it will be back to the grind for the Aggies in preparation for the 2021 season.
The Aggies will begin spring drills March 22, the first day of school following a shortened spring break, and the annual Maroon & White game will cap practices April 17. The spring game will be held at Kyle Field before a limited-capacity crowd, which typically defines a spring game crowd anyway.
In between, A&M will conduct its annual pro day March 30, where four-year starting quarterback Kellen Mond, a former Reagan star, and others are expected to run through drills for representatives from all 32 NFL teams.
In other news, A&M has added four-star receiver Isaiah Sategna to its 2022 recruiting class. Sategna of Fayetteville, Ark., on Tuesday became the eighth pledge in coach Jimbo Fisher's fourth full class with the Aggies.

Kansas announced Miles' departure late Monday night, describing it as a mutual agreement to part ways. Miles has three years left on his original five-year contract with the school that pays him $2.775 million annually through December 2023.
Miles, 67, was 3-18 in two seasons with the Jayhawks. Offensive coordinator Mike Debord was named acting head coach.
