Our choices in city races, contests for school boards

- MAYOR Ron Nirenberg

If you are at all like us, you have been wondering, how could there possibly be another election? But in Texas, of course, there is always an election around the corner.

Once again, voters in Bexar County will head to the polls. San Antonio voters will have their say on the mayoral and City Council races, as well as propositions on affordable housing and collective bargaining for police. Once again, we offer a list of our recommendations in city races, as well as for trustees in many of the area school districts. Early voting runs through April 27, and election day is May 1.

We hope you find these recommendations helpful, just as we hope you vote.
