A Texas woman who was sentenced to 60 days in jail for her involvement in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot is facing backlash online after saying that she plans to use her incarceration to lose weight.

Jenna Ryan, a Realtor from Frisco, released a Tiktok talking about how she hopes to lose 30 pounds by the end of her sentence because “the food is awful.”

Ryan was arrested Jan. 15 after livestreaming herself at the Capitol, calling it the “best day of her life,” the FBI said in a statement of facts. She took a private plane to Washington, D.C., to follow her president.

In the video, captioned “Keep Positive — Prison Fit Check,” Ryan stands in front of a full-length mirror

in a sports bra and yoga pants talking to her phone. She says that the “only good thing about prison is that (she) will be able to work out a lot and do a lot of yoga and detox.”

Ryan added that she hopes there will be protein

shakes and bars in jail to eat.

“Hopefully, I will get down to my ideal weight because I won’t be able to drink, I won’t be able to eat the stupid stuff I eat sometimes, like chips,” Ryan said. “I think I can lose 30 pounds in two months, and if I do that, it will be worth going to prison.”

The FBI said video footage of Ryan shows her entering the Capitol through the Rotunda doors with a large group as she shouted: “Here we are in the name of Jesus” and “fight for freedom.”

After her arrest, Ryan asked former President Donald Trump to pardon her, saying that she didn’t feel any shame or guilt for her actions. In March, after pleading not guilty to the charges, she touted that she wouldn’t get any jail time because “she did nothing wrong.”

In November, she was sentenced to 60 days of incarceration.

Despite her “trying to look at the bright side” of her sentence as she says, commentors on Twitter and Tiktok immediately slammed Ryan for her “delusional” idea of incarceration.

While many scoffed at her image of jail, others mocked Ryan, advising her to ask for acai bowls and demand the other prisoners give their protein shakes to her.

“Jenna Ryan is the poster child for white, entitled, clueless MAGAS. I hope she’s really popular in prison,” one Twitter user said.

“It’s not a retreat. … It’s prison,” another Tiktok user commented.

In the comments on her Tiktok video, Ryan doubled down, insisting that the jail sentence would be ideal for her weight loss.
