“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”: Roald Dahl’s classic story comes to life once again. “Celebratió­n a la Virgen de Guadalupe”: Annual exhibit features paintings, sculpture, jewelry and folk art inspired by the Virgin of Guadalupe. “Black Cowboys: An American Story”: This exhibit digs into the lives and work of Black men, women and children who worked on Texas ranches before the Civil War through the turn of the 20th century. “Nature, Power and Maya Royals”: Exhibition features 34 objects and works of art discovered by University of Texas at San Antonio researcher­s at two royal Maya burial sites at the ancient city of Buenavista del Cayo, Belize.
