When this triple feature begins, that’s him seeking the courage to master river rapids and backwoods marauders in the searing 1972 drama “Deliveranc­e.” In 1974’s “Conrack,” his teacher looks to enlighten poor Gullah community kids in South Carolina. And he’s Joe Buck, the title’s “Midnight Cowboy” (1969), a naive male prostitute in New York who befriends Dustin Hoffman’s tragic “Ratso” Rizzo.
