Cruise line incentive includes $1,000 shipboard credit, reduced deposit

The ocean cruise line Regent Seven Seas has launched Return to Regent, a multifaceted offer to inspire confidence in booking a cruise. Along with reduced deposits and a $1,000 shipboard credit, the offer includes the security of Regent Reassurance, which allows guests to cancel their cruise for any reason up to 15 days before the departure date and receive a 100 percent credit for a future cruise.

Valid for new bookings made by July 31, Return to Regent, is applicable to sailings through 2022, expanding the line’s “cancel for any reason” policy to cover all destinations and voyages.

“We know first-hand that many of our guests have been planning and dreaming of their next luxury vacation over the last few weeks, and I hope that Return to Regent gives them the confidence and comfort in their decision to book a cruise,” said Jason Montague, president and chief executive officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “We aim to provide not only the security to sail again with the option to cancel for any reason up to 15 days before departure date, but also added flexibility with reduced deposits. We hope to stir inspiration to travel as well with $1,000 shipboard credit and hundreds of cruises to choose from across the world, all the way up to 2022.”

There are a number of ways to spend a $1,000 onboard credit on an all-inclusive cruise. Regent Choice small group tours, which are designed for a maximum of 16 travelers, can be purchased or, for an even more personalized experience, a private car and driver can also be reserved in many ports of call. On board, guests can opt for spa and wellness offerings; expand their culinary knowledge and skills in the Culinary Arts Kitchen, found on Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Explorer; or make a purchase from the Connoisseur Wine Menu — perhaps a bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal 2007 to toast a special anniversary or a velvety Vega Sicilia Unico 2005 Tempranillo, simply to celebrate a perfectly cooked steak.
