Tucker’s attacks on Duckworth, Dems sad

Re “Fox’s Carlson criticized for saying Democrats hate America” (July 7): Fox News host Tucker Carlson has gotten it wrong again. If anyone speaks out against hate and bigotry while trying to change the status quo regarding racism as decorated veteran Sen. Tammy Duckworth did, they must hate America, according to Carlson.

I served in the Persian Gulf to fight for the principles of America — the same principles that allow him to have his distorted view of what defines the love of this country.

Just because folks have differing opinions, that doesn’t translate into them
