Taxes should not fund religious schools in U.S.

Re “Supreme Court lifts ban on state aid to religious schooling” (June 30): With regard to a fateful decision mandating we taxpayers finance religious education, handed down by the highest court in the land, this represents a blatant, shameful mix of church and state.

It is a deadly nail in the coffin of democracy, on its face immoral at best. What will be the next violation we must expect from a court severely tainted by Donald Trump’s influence? Roe v. Wade? Stan Levin San Diego
