Through July TEMECULA Movies at home
The city of Temecula has moved its Moonlight Movies in the Park series into residents’ homes with the Summer Movies at Home series. Families are invited to do a craft at home and stream the movie of the week via their preferred service. Instructions for the crafts and activities are posted online at temeculaca.gov/moonlightmovies. The July movies are “Toy Story 4,” “Frozen 2,” “The Incredibles 2” and “The Princess and the Frog.”
TEMECULA Concerts at home
The city of Temecula is offering its summer concert series at home, livestreaming weekly concerts on Facebook at @Temeculaparksandrec. The free concerts are presented at 7 p.m. Thursdays. The July 30 concert will feature Crowd Theory. Previous concerts can also be viewed on the Facebook page. Among the previous performances are Escape Band: The Journey Tribute, the Tony Suraci Band, 80z All Stars, Stone Soul and the Eagles/ronstadt Experience Tribute Band.
MURRIETA Stay at Home Storytime
The Murrieta Public Library hosts a Stay at Home Storytime for children at 10 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through July 30 on Facebook Live. Ms. Allison reads books and sings songs for children. Visit @murrietalibrary on Facebook for information.
COUNTYWIDE Reading program
The Riverside County Library System’s Summer Reading Program for all ages continues through Aug. 8. Participate in weekly online activities, earn points and digital badges, track your reading and submit online reviews. Visit www.rivlib.net to register.
August TEMECULA Outdoor summer camps
The Temecula Community Services Department is offering limited outdoor programs. The Temecula Glitz Superstar Cheer Camp, for ages 5-10, will be held July 27-30 at the CRC Amphitheater. Pickleball, for ages 8 and older, will be on Wednesdays, Aug 5-26, at Margarita Park. Times vary by level.
