known to figure. Show us the numbers.

The purported increase in cycling by SANDAG is a flash in the pan. Having walked, cycled and swam more than 1 million miles in my lifetime, I can attest to society’s lack of fortitude in constituency. Also, the hypocrisy is appalling.

The same folks riding their shiny Schwinns around the block are, for the most part, the same folks who drove like maniacs before the pandemic, endangering the lives of cyclists. I suspect these constitutionally weak San Diegans cry like babies when some motorist gets too close to their children on little bicycles. These are selfish people. Except the hypocrisy will soon end when society gets back to normal and motorists begin driving like barbarians again.

essential for these patients to regain their health and independence. This access is threatened by cuts to Medicare for 36 health care providers, scheduled to take effect on Jan. 1, 2021, with physical therapists slated to take a 9% cut. These proposed cuts will limit all access to physical therapy.

Biden and Pelosi didn’t warn the nation, either

Re “Bob Woodward’s Trump interview revelations should outrage everyone” (Sept. 9): If the president downplayed the coronavirus and that is equivalent to lying, then is the U-T lying when it downplays or ignores candidate Joe Biden and Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s position on the virus in the January-february time frame?

Just asking for a friend.

is very similar.

Listen to those who know Trump best

Read the Donald Trump tell-all books. It’s true those authors, now numbering in the dozens, are mostly disillusioned Trump sycophants who expected to ride a gravy train with him, quit or were dumped unceremoniously one after another, and now get some revenge telling it like it is.

The Trump-in-spite-ofeverything voters are also sycophants. They believe he’ll stay true to the basic Republican wish list if reelected. Not happening. Once he has your votes, sooner or later you also will get the classic Trump dump. Just read the books.

We need to stand ready to put America back together again, in January or, God forbid, 2025.
