CARLSBAD
The Carlsbad City Council will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday for an update on the city's commercial eviction moratorium. The council will review the Traffic and Mobility Commission work plan for 2020-21. The council will also consider a resolution authorizing use of the Calavera Community Park Gym, Pine Avenue Community Center and Stagecoach Community Center as training centers and poll locations for the 2020 general election.
ENCINITAS
The Encinitas City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday to discuss the status of improvements completed and in process for northern Leucadia, such as parking, sidewalks and possible rail crossings. ESCONDIDO

OCEANSIDE
Oceanside's Public Works Department will host a virtual information session at 6 p.m. Tuesday to share options in a beach sand replenishment and retention feasibility study. POWAY
The Poway City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday to discuss an ordinance amending city code on solid waste collection, which will include green waste carts for more than 14,000 customers. After residents receive their green waste containers, they will be required to use them for yard waste only, and in early 2021, they will be able to recycle their food scraps and other compostables. The city will also hold a pre-development conference on a mixed-use development with 220 residential units at the site of the former Poway Fun Bowl and the Carriage Center at 12845 to 12941 Poway Road.
