Gala auction items include beach, river and mountain getaways

The annual gala is a vital fundraiser for Neighborhood Healthcare. This year, the Speakeasy Soiree Fundraising Gala will be an innovative virtual event from 5 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 26 with entertainment and auction items. Live bids include a weekend escape to Big Bear with a cabin in Big Bear City that sleeps up to 10; two weeks at a two-bedroom condo next to Swami's Beach in Encinitas; and a week on the Colorado River at the three-bedroom River House in Parker, Ariz.
The online auction will be open from Sept. 20 to 26; preview items for bid are being posted.
Neighborhood Healthcare's mission is to provide quality care to every member of the community, regardless of situation or circumstance. The federally qualified, private, nonprofit health center offers a wide range of services, including medical, dental and behavioral health. With more than 50 years of patient care, the organization serves more than 76,000 people annually with over 355,000 medical, dental and behavioral health visits at 16 locations in San Diego and Riverside counties. Neighborhood serves the most vulnerable members of the community and accepts Medical, Medicare and income-based cash payment.
