Sept. 17 MURRIETA State of the City
The Murrieta 2020 State of the City event will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 17. Sept. 20 TEMECULA Health & Wellness Fair
The city of Temecula will host a free Drive-thru Health & Wellness Fair from 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 20 at the Mary Phillips Senior Center parking lot, 41845 Sixth St. There will be free blood pressure and glucose screenings, health information, dental hygiene kits, giveaways, prizes and more. Sept. 20-Oct. 4 TEMECULA Virtual color run
Temecula’s annual F.I.T. Fun Color Run is going virtual this year and will take place over two weeks: Sept. 20 to Oct. 4. Participants can race at their own pace, choosing a personal race course, preferred date and time, and tracking their miles using a device of their choice. All runners receive a T-shirt, medal, powder packets in three vivid colors, hand sanitizer and an obstacle course pamphlet. Participants can upgrade to a Premium package to receive a racing bib, cheer poms, sidewalk chalk additional color packets and squeeze bottles. Sept. 22 MURRIETA Candidate forum
The Murrieta/wildomar Chamber of Commerce will host a virtual City Council candidates forum at 6 p.m. Sept. 22. Sept. 24-Oct. 4 TEMECULA Plein air competition
The city of Temecula is inviting local artists to participate in the 13th annual Ralph Love Plein Air Competition from Sept. 24-Oct. 4. Artists are invited to paint from three locations: Old Town Temecula, Temecula Wine Country or city of Temecula parks. To qualify for judging, canvas submissions must be stamped between Sept, 24 and Oct. 4; stamps are available from the Temecula Valley Museum by calling (951) 694-6455.
