Downtown San Diego projects under construction
Construction dates are based on materials given to the city by the developer but are estimates and can be delayed for various reasons.
1. 11th and Broadway: A 618unit apartment complex with 11,000-square-feet of retail. To be completed in March 2021.
2. 14th and Commercial: A 407-unit apartment complex with 5,000-square-feet of retail. To be completed in May 2022.
3. 220 W. Broadway: A multiuse complex with 431 apartments, 270,00-square-feet of office and 18,000-square-feet of retail.
4. 450 B Street (Twenty by Six): A 90,000-square-foot office building to be completed in spring 2021.
5. 915 Grape Street: A 70-apartment complex with 1,000-square-feet with retail. To be completed at the end of this year.
6. AC Hotel (743 Fifth Avenue): An 147-room hotel with 1,000-square-feet of retail. To be completed in July 2021.
7. Ezabelle (West side of 13th Street between Island Avenue and J Street): A 46-unit apartment complex. To be completed in January 2021.
8. Jefferson Makers Quarter (A full block bounded by Broadway, 15th, 16th and E streets): A 368-unit apartment complex with 20,000square-feet of office. To be completed in June 2022.
9. Kettner and Hawthorn: A multi-use building with 117,000-square-feet of office and 13,000-square-feet of retail. To be completed in July 2021. 10. Manchester Pacific Gateway (West side of Pacific Highway): A 3-million-squarefoot project, which occupies eight city blocks, calls for multiple office towers, including a 17-story, 372,000square-foot Navy headquarters; an 1,100-room convention hotel; a retail-lined “paseo;” and a museum on more than 12 acres south of Broadway between Pacific Highway and Harbor Drive.
11. Modera San Diego (East side of 14th street between K and L): A 383-unit apartment complex. To be completed at the end of this year.
12. The Block (702 Broadway): A multi-use building with 620 apartments with 20,000-square-feet of retail. To be completed in March 2021.
13. The Link (707 17th St.): An 88-unit subsidized apartment complex to be completed by the end of this year.
14. Third and A: A 270-unit apartment complex with 4,000-square-feet of retail. To be completed in December 2021.
