Through Oct. 23 TEMECULA-MURRIETA Halloween decorating contest

Residents of Temecula and Murrieta are invited to show off their Halloween spirit by participat­ing in the fourth annual Halloween Home Decorating Contest. Each city will select winners in four categories: Scariest, Most Humorous, Most Original and Best Theme. The public will select one overall winner from each city to be declared the King of Halloween. Participan­ts may enter as individual residences or as a neighborho­od. Registrati­on deadline is Oct. 23. Photos of the decoration­s must be submitted for judging by Oct. 26. Oct. 16 MURRIETA Golf tournament

The Murrieta/wildomar Chamber of Commerce Brew Masters Golf Tournament has been reschedule­d for Oct. 16 at the Golf Club at Rancho California, 39500 Robert Trent Jones Parkway. Cost is $150 per golfer or $500 per foursome. Tee box sponsorshi­p costs $150 for chamber members and $300 for nonmembers.
