Through Oct. 23 TEMECULA-MURRIETA Halloween contest
Residents of Temecula and Murrieta are invited to show off their Halloween spirit by participating in the fourth annual Halloween Home Decorating Contest. Each city will select winners in four categories: Scariest, Most Humorous, Most Original and Best Theme. The public will select one overall winner from each city to be declared the King of Halloween. Participants may enter as individual residences or as a neighborhood. Registration deadline is Oct. 23. Photos of the decorations must be submitted for judging by Oct. 26. Oct. 27 MURRIETA Coffee talks
The Coffee with the City of Murrieta series continues at 8:30 a.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month. The free events hosted by the city and the Murrieta/wildomar Chamber of Commerce provide an opportunity for residents to connect with city officials. Oct. 29 MURRIETA Blood drive

WILDOMAR State of the City
The city of Wildomar and the Murrieta/wildomar Chamber of Commerce will hold a virtual State of the City address at 6 p.m. Oct. 29. Nov. 8 TEMECULA Walk of Hope
The 2020 Michelle’s Place Walk of Hope will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Nov. 8 at South Coast Winery, 34843 Rancho California Road. The cost is $15 for survivors, $15 for youths ages 4-12 and $35 for individuals 13 and older. For those who would like to participate from home, the cost is $35. Through Nov. 30 VALLEYWIDE Lifestream Dream Raffle
Lifestream is holding a Dream Raffle fundraiser, with more than $25,000 in prizes, to benefit the blood bank. Proceeds will be used to purchase new collection and testing equipment to increase the bank’s capacity to accept blood donations. Tickets cost $10 each, six for $50, or 13 for $100 and can be purchased through Nov. 30 by calling (909) 386-6840 or online at lstream.org/raffle.
