Through Oct. 23 TEMECULA-MURRIETA Halloween contest

Residents of Temecula and Murrieta are invited to show off their Halloween spirit by participat­ing in the fourth annual Halloween Home Decorating Contest. Each city will select winners in four categories: Scariest, Most Humorous, Most Original and Best Theme. The public will select one overall winner from each city to be declared the King of Halloween. Participan­ts may enter as individual residences or as a neighborho­od. Registrati­on deadline is Oct. 23. Photos of the decoration­s must be submitted for judging by Oct. 26. Oct. 27 MURRIETA Coffee talks

The Coffee with the City of Murrieta series continues at 8:30 a.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month. The free events hosted by the city and the Murrieta/wildomar Chamber of Commerce provide an opportunit­y for residents to connect with city officials. Oct. 29 MURRIETA Blood drive

WILDOMAR State of the City

The city of Wildomar and the Murrieta/wildomar Chamber of Commerce will hold a virtual State of the City address at 6 p.m. Oct. 29. Nov. 8 TEMECULA Walk of Hope

The 2020 Michelle’s Place Walk of Hope will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Nov. 8 at South Coast Winery, 34843 Rancho California Road. The cost is $15 for survivors, $15 for youths ages 4-12 and $35 for individual­s 13 and older. For those who would like to participat­e from home, the cost is $35. Through Nov. 30 VALLEYWIDE Lifestream Dream Raffle

Lifestream is holding a Dream Raffle fundraiser, with more than $25,000 in prizes, to benefit the blood bank. Proceeds will be used to purchase new collection and testing equipment to increase the bank’s capacity to accept blood donations. Tickets cost $10 each, six for $50, or 13 for $100 and can be purchased through Nov. 30 by calling (909) 386-6840 or online at lstream.org/raffle.
