Diane ‘Dee Dee’ St John

ESCONDIDO — Diane (Dee Dee) passed away of Acute Mayeloid Leukemia, at the age of 76. Diane has many accolades to her credit. She was in the Junior Police & enjoyed acting in plays during her school years in Coronado, CA. She moved to Palm Springs, CA. w/ her family where she met her first Husband, Bernard. They married & had two children. While in Palm Springs she was a Fashion & Print Model, & the first Female Firefighte­r/ Paramedic in Ca. In 1976 she moved back to her home town of San Diego, CA. She loved the military City having grown up a Navy Brat. She continued to stay active by doing what she loved, Acting. She played a cameo in Top Gun, had parts in the TV Mini Series (Space) & Simon & Simon. She was an Ambassador w/ the Chamber of Commerce while running her own companies; St John Enterprise­s (Advertisin­g Agency) & Exclusive Concierge (Event Planning). During her later years she & her Husband Bob grew their Taco Bell Franchise to 24 locations. She volunteere­d at the Red Cross & the Miss

Escondido Pageant for several years. Diane is survived by her Husband, Bob, Sister Christine, Daughter Kimberly, Sons Marc & Robert, Niece Amy & Nephew Andy, Grandchild­ren; Breanna, Taylor, Trent, Mackenzie, Robbie, Seth & Jacob & Great Grandchild, Blake. In lieu of flowers please donate to St Jude in Diane’s name. She was passionate about this wonderful foundation.

Diane’s passing was sudden. She was a huge presence in our lives. She is so dearly missed.
