Villamor Cauguiran Nucup

SAN DIEGO — Villamor Cauguiran Nucup, 84, of Bamban, Tarlac, Philippines passed away March 25, 2021, at home in San Diego, California. He was born August 10, 1936 to Simeon and Agatona (Cauguiran) Nucup in Capas, Tarlac, Philippines. He married the love of his life, Aurora Bruce, on January 6, 1963 in Appari, Cagayan, Philippines and had six children.

Villamor graduated from Bamban Institute and attended Republic Central College, receiving a degree in secretarial education. He spent 28 years working on Clark Air Base in the Philippines before moving to Japan with his wife, daughter, and her family. He would eventually settle down in San Diego with his wife. He enjoyed traveling and seeing new places. He loved spending time with all his family. He never hesitated to help those in need.

He is survived by his wife, Aurora Bruce Nucup; children Emmanuel Nelson Nucup, Norlinda (Patrick) Campbell, Nerissa Plamo, and Norman (Susan) Nucup; siblings Lucena Lundang, Carlito (Barbara) Nucup, Perlita Manalili, Conrado (Estelita) Nucup, and Simeon (Margocita) Nucup of San Diego, CA; grandchildren Bryttney (Jordan) Thompson, Patrick (Jennifer) Campbell Jr., Justin John (Jellyn) Larsen, John Vincent Nucup, Aurora Anna Campbell, and Restinel Russel Nucup; great-grandchildren Holden Thompson, Coralyne Thompson, Luna Campbell, Adelynn Thompson, and Ethan Larsen; many nieces and nephews and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Simeon and Agatona Nucup; his sons Nestor Nucup and Nolan Nucup; his grandson Zachary Campbell; his brothers Jovencio Nucup, Pablito Nucup, and Ruben Nucup; his brothers-in-law Lamberto Lundang and Carlito Manalili; his sisters-in-law Perla Nucup and Nena Nucup.

The family will be taking visitors from 4pm to 8pm on March 29, 2021 at Poway Bernardo Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on March 30, 2021 at 10am, also at Poway Bernardo Mortuary.
