Citro, Tri Pointe Homes’ newest masterplanned community, will bring six new neighborhoods to southeastern Fallbrook, including the spacious Castello neighborhood, which is slated to release its first models in early fall with homes selling in early summer 2021. Starting from the $500,000s and ranging between 1,691 and 2,209 square feet, Castello at Citro offers a variety of elegant housing options for San Diego’s middle-income buyers. Homes within the Castello neighborhood will include three to five bedrooms, two-and-a-half to three bathrooms and a two-bay garage, creating a contemporary living experience that is both high functioning and enjoyable for families. Used for farming and agricultural purposes for decades, the Citro property has a robust history that Tri Pointe Homes sought to incorporate in the community’s design. The new 390-acre community will provide future residents with numerous amenities including working avocado and citrus groves, 235 acres of open space and 14 miles of trails. “The Spot” recreation center will include a pool, spa, children’s wading pool, barbecues, community lounge, on-site farm stand, sensory garden, gathering spaces and public park, as well as a potential future school site. Residents in the Castello neighborhood will have easy access to dining, shopping, beaches and more through handy highway access. Tri Pointe Homes has been a leader in green building since 2001, and all its communities including Citro will feature the builder’s signature Livingsmart® package, which incorporates products and eco-friendly practices that reduce energy, preserve natural efficiency and enhance indoor and water quality.
