Food distribution Tuesday in El Cajon

The Rock Church East County campus at 808 Jackman St., El Cajon, is hosting a free food, diaper and supplies distribution at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Food distribution continues until supplies run out. The distribution boxes will include fresh produce, frozen meat protein, and holiday dry goods from Feeding San Diego. The dry goods boxes include pantry staples as well as holiday food items such as pie crust mix, stuffing mix, mashed potato mix, and more. Recipients do not need to attend the Rock Church to receive food. Santee Rec offers new fitness class

The Santee Parks & Rec Department invites seniors age 55-plus to a new fitness class starting Jan. 5. The free class is given in partnership with the Sharp Grossmont Hospital Senior Resource Center from 3-4 p.m. every first Wednesday at Town Center Community Park East. Free craft kit at Lemon Grove library

The Lemon Grove branch library offers a Make and Take Winter Craft kit, available from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. One kit per child. This week’s kit is a Make A Name Snowman. Library is at 3001 School Lane. Call (619) 463-9818.
