Eula “Lee” Reed, age 92, of El Cajon, CA, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022.

Lee was born September 17, 1929, in Gunnison, CO., to Celia and Thomas Crews. She married her husband H.D. in 1959, and they had four children. Additionally, Lee was blessed to have four stepdaughters.

Lee has worn many hats over the years; daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, entrepreneur, philanthropist, mentor, and friend. She was a godly woman who modeled grace and strength and was a role model for all those who had the pleasure to know her. She was always grateful to God for the many blessings in her life.

Lee is survived by her daughter Michelle Laughter (Brian) of Carlsbad, CA; her son David Reed (Karen) of El Cajon, CA; her daughter Vickie Petix-reichert (Rand) of San Diego, CA; her daughter Kimber Reed (Anna Orozco) of El Cajon, CA; her step-daughter Barbara Werkmeister (Jim) of Kearney, NE; her step-daughter Betty Warren (Jeff ) of

Johnson Lake, NE, and her step-daughter Pam Pearson of Kearney, NE. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 greatgrandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Lee was preceded in death by her husband, H.D., her brother Albert Crews, her stepdaughter Julie Anderson and her granddaughter Patty Mostek.

A visitation for Lee will be held Friday, July 8, 2022, from 4-6 PM at El Cajon Mortuary, 684 Mollison Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020. A funereal service will occur Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Shadow Mountain Community Church, 2100 Greenfield Dr., El Cajon, CA 92019.
