Arizona struggled early, rallied and dug a big hole.

The No. 12 Wildcats scratched their way back by getting gritty, turning their Pac-12 home finale against UCLA into a desert version of a street fight.

Oumar Ballo had 17 points and 13 rebounds, Pelle Larsson scored 22 points and Arizona rallied from a 19-point deficit to beat UCLA 77-71 on Saturday in the rivals’ final Pac-12 game at Mckale Center.

“You don’t necessaril­y want your team to be in that position, but when you’re in that position you’ve got to take advantage of it and our guys did today,” Arizona coach Tommy Lloyd said. “I think it was a great experience.”

The Wildcats (14-4, 5-2 Pac-12) labored offensivel­y against one of the nation’s best defenses while falling into a 32-13 hole midway through the first half.

Sebastian Mack scored 16 of his 21 points in the second half to lead UCLA (8-11, 3-5). Lazar Stefanovic added 17.

“We were able to pass and move and run offense in the first half,” UCLA coach Mick Cronin said. “Then the game became an unofficiat­ed street fight, and we had to spread it out and drive the ball.”

Arizona State 82, USC 67: Jose Perez scored 20 and Frankie Collins and Jamiya Neal each scored 17 points and Arizona State (11-7, 5-2) ended a seven-game regular season losing streak against the Trojans.

USC (8-11, 2-6) committed a season-high 22 turnovers. Vincent Iwuchukwu scored 14 points and had 12 rebounds and Kobe Johnson scored 13 for the Trojans.

Jalen Cone added 15 points for the Bears (7-12, 3-5 Pac 12). Andrej Jakimovski led Washington State (13-6, 4-4) with 20 points.

Colorado 90, Oregon State 57: Tristan da Silva scored 19 points to lead all five starters in double figures and Colorado (14-5, 5-3 Pac-12) never trailed in a romp over Oregon State (9-9, 1-5).

Stanford 90, Washington 80: Spencer Jones scored 30 points with eight 3-pointers to lead host Stanford (10-8, 5-3 Pac-12) past Washington. Keion Brooks Jr. had 20 points to lead all five starters in double figures for the Huskies (11-8, 3-5).

New Mexico 85, Air Force 66: JT Toppin had 25 points in New Mexico’s win at Air Force, adding 13 rebounds for the Lobos (16-3, 4-2 Mountain West).

Beau Becker led the Falcons (7-10, 0-5) with 23 points.

Wyoming 98, Nevada 93: Sam Griffin’s 26 points and seven assists led the way for the host Cowboys (10-8, 3-2 MW) against Nevada. The Wolf Pack (15-4, 2-3) were led by Tre Coleman’s 23 points.

UC San Diego 67, Hawaii 61: Bryce Pope’s 21 points helped host UC San Diego defeat Hawaii.

Tyler Mcghie scored 14 points while going 5 of 9 (3 of 6 from 3-point range) for the Tritons (12-7, 6-1 Big West).

The Rainbow Warriors (10-9, 2-5) were led in scoring by Juan Muñoz, who finished with 21 points.

Santa Clara 101, Portland 86: Christoph Tilly’s 22 points led Santa Clara (14-7, 5-1 West Coast Conference) past visiting Portland (7-12, 1-3).

Friday’s late game Colorado State 78, UNLV 75:

Nique Clifford had 21 points for the host Rams (15-3, 3-2 MW). Keylan Boone scored 21 points for the Rebels (9-8, 2-3).
