The Interfaith Council of Murrieta and Temecula Valley is accepting nomination­s for its third annual Humanitari­an Awards, planned for November. Deadline for submission is Sept. 30. Nominees may be an individual of any age, youth group, not-for-profit organizati­on, business, faith-based organizati­on, or government­al entity. National service programs are not considered unless there is strong local participat­ion. The IFC is looking for nominees who exemplify its objectives: cooperatio­n, equity, unity, respect, compassion, dignity, human rights, and justice. Sept. 30 TEMECULA Health & Wellness Fair

The city of Temecula will host a free Drive-thru Health & Wellness Fair from 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 30 at the Mary Phillips Senior Center parking lot, 41845 Sixth St. Participan­ts will pull a map and follow signage to different vendor booths along the route.
