Through Sept. 30 MURRIETA/TEMECULA VALLEY Humanitarian Award nominations
The Interfaith Council of Murrieta and Temecula Valley is accepting nominations for its third annual Humanitarian Awards, planned for November. Deadline for submission is Sept. 30. Nominees may be an individual of any age, youth group, not-for-profit organization, business, faith-based organization, or governmental entity. National service programs are not considered unless there is strong local participation. The IFC is looking for nominees who exemplify its objectives: cooperation, equity, unity, respect, compassion, dignity, human rights, and justice. Sept. 30 TEMECULA Health & Wellness Fair
The city of Temecula will host a free Drive-thru Health & Wellness Fair from 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 30 at the Mary Phillips Senior Center parking lot, 41845 Sixth St. Participants will pull a map and follow signage to different vendor booths along the route.
