Residents of Temecula and Murrieta are invited to show off their Halloween spirit by participating in the fourth annual Halloween Home Decorating Contest. Each city will select winners in four categories: Scariest, Most Humorous, Most Original and Best Theme. The public will select one overall winner from each city to be declared the King of Halloween. Participants may enter as individual residences or as a neighborhood. Registration deadline is Oct. 23. Photos of the decorations must be submitted for judging by Oct. 26. Oct. 16 MURRIETA Golf tournament

The Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce Brew Masters Golf Tournament has been rescheduled for Oct. 16 at the Golf Club at Rancho California, 39500 Robert Trent Jones Parkway. Cost is $150 per golfer or $500 per foursome. Tee box sponsorship costs $150 for chamber members and $300 for nonmembers. Nov. 8 TEMECULA Walk of Hope

The 2020 Michelle’s Place Walk of Hope will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Nov. 8 at South Coast Winery, 34843 Rancho California Road. The cost is $15 for survivors, $15 for youths ages 4-12 and $35 for individuals 13 and older. For those who would like to participate from home, the cost is $35.
