POLICE SEEKING 25-YEAR-OLD WOMAN CONSIDERED AS ‘PERSON OF INTEREST’ IN HOMICIDE LAST MONTH IN SAN DIEGO

San Diego police said Friday they are looking for a 25year-old woman they consider a “person of interest” in a Talmadge homicide last month and asked the public to step forward with tips as to her whereabout­s.

Sheila Camarena “should be considered armed and dangerous,” police and San Diego County Crime Stoppers said in a f lier issued Friday. Authoritie­s are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for informatio­n that leads to an arrest in the case.

The victim was Mychael Farve, 33, of San Diego, homicide Lt. Matthew Dobbs said.

According to Dobbs, someone called 911 about 3:25 a.m. Sept. 18 to report an assault with a deadly weapon on Euclid Avenue north of El Cajon Boulevard.

Police found Farve suffering from “trauma to his upper body,” Dobbs said, but he did not say how Farve had been injured. Some media outlets, including Fox 5 and CBS 8, reported that Farve

had been shot.

Police rendered aid to Farve until paramedics arrived and took him to a hospital, where he died at 4:15 a.m.

Dobbs said a small dark car was seen leaving the area where police found Farve.

Authoritie­s have not said what may have preceded the deadly encounter.

Camarena is described as Latina, 25 years old, about 5feet, 5-inches tall and about 170 pounds.

She has brown eyes and black hair, but has been known to color it blond or red
