San Diego State Women’s Track and Field
Dyer, a junior from Temecula Valley High School, was the 2020 Mountain West Indoor Champion in the 4x400m relay and was named to the 2020 USTFCCCA Indoor All-American Team for the 4x400m relay. A three-race star, Dyer competed in the 4x400m, 200m, and 60m hurdles at the Mountain West Championships. Her performances helped the Aztecs secure a berth in the NCAA Championships in the 4x400m relay.
Elisha Guidry UCLA Football
Guidry, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back out of Vista Murrieta High School, saw action in 12 games last fall as a redshirt sophomore. He started each of the last nine games and finished 10th on the team in tackles with 32. His best games came against Washington State and USC when he recorded five tackles both games. Guidry won the Iron Bruin Award at the team’s banquet and will look to continue his on-field excellence when the PAC-12 starts its season.
Jake Moberg UCLA Baseball
Moberg, a Vista Murrieta graduate who was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 34th round of the 2018 MLB Draft, has played two seasons so far for the Bruins. This past spring, he started all 15 of the team’s games at third base before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the shortened season, Moberg put up impressive stats. He had four separate multi-hit performances and scored 10 runs. He hit .265 with six RBIs in 49 at-bats.
Annabelle Werner UCLA Women’s Track and Field
Werner, a 5-foot-6 distance runner from Vista Murrieta High School, had a strong 2020 Indoor Track and Field campaign. She ran her best 3000m of the season at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge when she recorded a time of 10:08.96 and finished in 33rd place. Werner competed in the 3000m at the MPSF Indoor Championships. Her 10:12.02 time was good for 57th place. Werner also competes in outdoor track and cross country. During the 2019 cross country season, she raced in two meets for the Bruins and finished 19th in the 6K at the Highlander Invite.
