Women’s Volleyball
Sukhov, a senior from Murrieta Valley High School, was a two-year starter at CSU Bakersfield where she led the team with 2.91 points per set as a sophomore. Sukhov transferred to Fresno State for her junior season and was named the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year. She appeared in 25 matches in 2019 and made 21 starts. Her 4.57 points per set ranked second in the Mountain West, helping her achieve an AllMountain West selection.
Nathan Bolton
Riverside City College
Football
Bolton graduated from Vista
Murrieta High School and burst on the scene for Riverside in 2019. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound athlete lined up along the defensive line and played in 10 games, making 20 total tackles. In a big win over Orange Coast last November, Bolton notched four tackles. He also had three tackles in three different games. His performance helped Riverside to an undefeated season.
Lei Mo’Unga Riverside City College Football
Mo’Unga, a 6-foot, 220-pound athlete from Vista Murrieta High School, plays the linebacker position for the Tigers. Last fall, he appeared in 13 games and recorded 27 tackles and 3.5 sacks. In a November win over Canyons, Mo’Unga racked up five total tackles and 1.5 sacks. After helping Riverside to an undefeated season last year, Mo’Unga will look to continue that success as the team plays its spring season in 2021.
Alex Oyawale Riverside City College Football
Oyawale is a linebacker out of Vista Murrieta High School. The 6foot, 220-pound athlete played in seven games last year for the undefeated Tigers. In those games, Oyawale notched nine total tackles, including 0.5 sacks. His best game came against Long Beach, when he had four total tackles including two solo stops. In that 31-28 win, Oyawale also had half a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss.
