SAN DIEGO — Sonia M. Colon of San Diego, CA, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2021, at the age of 77.
Sonia was born to parents Frank and Julia , who resided in Annandale, VA. She grew up as the eldest of four. She attended Pemberton High School in NJ., then attended Northeastern University in Boston and Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, with degrees in Bio-Chemistry.
Sonia will be loved and missed by her brother Frank, sister Cecilia , several nieces and nephew. and close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ada De La Garza of Mission, TX.
A viewing is not available at this time due to Covid concerns. The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.
