Will San Diego address Children’s Park issues?

Re “Children’s Park redo ready for construction” (March 16): The Children’s Park does need a redo after 25 years, but there was no mention of how the city is going to keep it safe and secure from the homeless people, drugs and crime.

Or is this just another $9 million city boondoggle that will make the park even more attractive to homeless people?
