Using a sizzling kick over the final 100 meters, the Mavericks junior sped to the section Division III championship, clocking a time of 15-minutes,16.1-seconds over the 2.96-mile Morley Field course.

Cathedral Catholic | Football Although the senior didn’t have to throw often, Mirer was deadly accurate, completing 5 of 7 passes for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns, leading the Dons past Carlsbad 48-19 in the Open Division championship.

The junior powered her way around the 2.96-mile Morley Field course in 17:51.4 to capture the San Diego Section Division V title. She also led the Eagles to a second-place finish and a berth in the state championships.
