No. 16 Iowa (9-2, 6-2 Big Ten) at Nebraska (3-8, 1-7) 10:30 a.m., BTN:

Not sure what it says about either team that the 3-8 Cornhuskers are favored over the 9-2 Hawkeyes. Especially when Iowa actually has a chance to play in the Big Ten title game; it needs to win this game and have Wisconsin lose Saturday at Minnesota. But the Hawkeyes have been unimpressive most of the season, even when winning (their last four wins were by 3, 5, 5 and 10 points). Meanwhile, Nebraska is favored despite losing five straight and seven of eight, but the seven losses came by 7, 3, 3, 7, 5, 9 and 7 points (five of them to ranked teams).

No. 4 Cincinnati (11-0, 7-0 AAC) at East Carolina (7-4, 5-2), 12:30 p.m., Ch. 10:

The Bearcats already clinched a spot in next week’s conference title game against No. 24 Houston (10-1), but obviously they have much more on their minds. Wins today and then against the Cougars could send Cincinnati to the College Football Playoff. East Carolina has won four straight, all against losing teams, but the Pirates did take Houston to overtime a month ago before falling.

UNLV (2-9, 2-5 MW) at Air Force (8-3, 5-2), 12:30 p.m., CBSSN: Not often that the Rebels show up on a list like this, but today’s game is a big one for the Falcons, who have two primary ways to reach the Mountain West title game: Win and hope Utah State somehow loses at New Mexico OR win and have both Utah State and Boise State (vs. SDSU) also win. (The third way is for all three teams to lose.) UNLV played the Aztecs tough last week, but that was at home and this will be at 7,000 feet the day after Thanksgiving. The Falcons have won five of their last six MW games, losing only to SDSU.
