SAN DIEGO GAY MEN’S CHORUS PRESENTS ‘JINGLE’
Some people celebrate the holidays by going to see “The Nutcracker.” Others might get peppermint mochas and take a drive to see holiday lights. In San Diego, another popular holiday tradition is to spend it with the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus. Its annual production of “Jingle” is back in person for 2021 — and it features all the songs and charm that have made this show such a beloved holiday event. Under the vision of guest artistic director Andy Riggs, expect about 200 singers, dancers and musicians at this family-friendly concert. They’ll be performing traditional Christmas songs as well as new arrangements and creative medleys. As always, wearing your ugly Christmas sweater is optional. 8 p.m. Saturday; 3 p.m. Sunday. Balboa Theatre, 868 Fourth Ave., downtown. $25 to $53. sandiegotheatres.org
