Dec. 11 Menifee Breakfast with Santa
The city of Menifee will hold a Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center, 29995 Evans Road. Residents will get the chance to take pictures with the big man himself and participate in activities. Tickets cost $10 per person and must be purchased in advance at www.cityofmenifee.us/register.
Dec. 11 PERRIS Christmas parade
The city of Perris will hold its 32nd annual Under the Christmas Tree parade at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, downtown along D Street. School bands, equestrian units, youth and dance groups, military entries and more will participate.
Dec. 11 TEMECULA Second Saturday
The Temecula Valley Museum offers its Second Saturday cultural program online and in person at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, with activities exploring other cultures. December’s program will look at Christmas around the world. Programs have explored Mexico, Germany, Scotland, Hawaii, Australia, Jamaica, Cuba, Vietnam and India, among others. Dec. 12 TEMECULA Sunday Funday at Vail HQ

Dec. 14 WILDOMAR Coffee talks
The monthly Coffee with the City of Wildomar series continues at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 14. Held the second Tuesday of the month, the free events hosted by the city and the Murrieta/ Wildomar Chamber of Commerce provide an opportunity for residents to connect with city officials. Dec. 18 LAKE ELSINORE Breakfast with Santa
The city of Lake Elsinore will hold a Breakfast with Santa event at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at Fire Station 97, 41725 Rosetta Canyon Drive. The event, which costs $5 per person older than 2, will include a pancake breakfast, crafts and pictures with Santa. Tickets must be purchased online in advance at https://tinyurl.com/y4uhsypd.
Dec. 18 TEMECULA Chilled in the Park
The city of Temecula invites the community to celebrate the holiday season at its Chilled at the Park event from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at Ronald Reagan Sports Park, 30875 Rancho Vista Road. The event will feature entertainment, an ugly sweater contest, kids zone, food vendors, and, at 7:45 p.m., a festive fireworks display.
Through Dec. 19 LAKE ELSINORE Winter Lights Kingdom
The Winter Lights Kingdom event, a drive-thru holiday lights spectacular, will be held Dec. 8 through Dec. 19 at the Lake Elsinore Storm stadium, 500 Diamond Drive. The event include lights, projectors, life-size sculptures and letters to Santa. A daylight experience is available from noon to 4 p.m. and a night experience is from 5 p.m. to midnight. Dec. 31 TEMECULA New Year’s Eve Grape Drop
Ring in the new year at the city of Temecula’s infamous Grape Drop. The event, from 6 p.m. Dec. 31 to 12:30 a.m. Jan. 1, will include live music, food vendors, children’s activities and a fun zone. Guests can count down to the new year twice — at 9 p.m. to mark the arrival on the East Coast and at midnight to mark arrival on the West Coast. Festivities will be held at the Temecula Civic Center, 41000 Main St.
Through Jan. 2 TEMECULA Temecula on Ice
The Temecula on Ice skating rink at Town Square Park is open for skating through Jan. 2. Admission costs $18 with skate rental and $13 without skate rental. The rink will be open 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sundays to Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Christmas Day skating will be from noon to 9 p.m..
