Adelaide , the signature restaurant at the ritzy L’Auberge Del Mar hotel, is bringing fresh coastal flavors to its new menu offerings from executive chef Nick Green. Seasonal dishes include Achiote Roasted Carrots, served as a side dish and made with tahini crema, granola crumble, fromage blanc and mint; the Heirloom Pumpkin Risotto, made with butternut squash and toasted pepitas and seasoned with black garlic and miso butter; and the Fresh Scallops, served with heirloom tomatoes, Persian cucumber, shiso and pickled blueberry with a tomato vinaigrett­e. Classic holiday cocktail at Eureka!: Eureka!, the scratch kitchen and bar with multiple San Diego locations, has brought back a popular seasonal cocktail, the Gingerbrea­d Old Fashioned. It’s made with Old Overholt Rye Whiskey, house-made gingerbrea­d syrup, Douglas Fir Liqueur, chocolate bitters and herbal bitters and is garnished with candied ginger. If you’re taking your drink to go, you can purchase a festive gingerbrea­d man ice mold for an additional $10. Available until Jan. 4.
