Not to be confused with the London-based music producer of the same name, Michigan fingerstyl­e acoustic guitar specialist and singer Jake Allen cites Michael Hedges and Pat Metheny as key influences. Also adept on drums and the stringed harp, Allen has made four solo albums since 2009. For his three concerts in Baja this weekend, he’ll team with San Diego violin virtuoso Alex DePue and Mexican guitar stalwart Miguel De Hoyos. Joan Osborne, with The Weepies: It’s been 27 years since Joan Osborne had her breakthrou­gh hit with “One of Us” and two years since she last toured before the COVID-19 shutdown of live events began in March 2020. Her upcoming new album, “Radio Waves,” features live recordings she made at various FM stations between 1995 and 2002. It includes her version of Gary Wright’s “Love Is Alive,” which Osborne recorded at a session for San Diego’s KPRI in 2000. Expect to hear it when the soulful singer performs here. 8 p.m. Monday.
