Cardinals 14, Cubs 5: Paul Goldschmid­t homered to extend his hitting streak to 25 games, Corey Dickerson went deep twice and St. Louis routed Chicago at Wrigley Field. Nolan Gorman and Lars Nootbaar also went deep as the Cardinals rolled to their fourth win in five games.

Giants 15, Marlins 6: Brandon Crawford hit his fifth career grand slam, Mike Yastrzemsk­i homered and doubled, and San Francisco routed host Miami.

Nationals 8, Reds 5: Lane Thomas had a three-homer game for the first time in his career, and Nelson Cruz and Juan Soto also went deep, leading Washington to a win at Cincinnati.

Diamondbac­ks 8, Pirates 6: Rookie Alek Thomas hit two of Arizona’s five home runs and the Diamondbac­ks opened a long road trip by beating Pittsburgh.

Braves 3, Rockies 1 (10): Max Fried pitched eight scoreless innings, Matt Olson hit a two-run single in the 10th and Atlanta beat Colorado to become the last major league team to win three straight games this season. It was only the second game in Coors Field history to be scoreless after nine innings.

Dodgers 6, Mets 1: Chris Taylor, Cody Bellinger and Zach McKinstry each hit home runs for host Los Angeles. Tyler Anderson (7-0) pitched six scoreless innings with five strikeouts and only allowed three hits with no walks for the Dodgers.

(IL) Phillies 10, Angels 0: Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber each homered twice and host Philadelph­ia won in interim manager Rob Thomson’s debut. Bryson Stott hit his first big league shot to back Zach Eflin in sending Los Angeles to its ninth straight loss.
