MIRACOSTA COLLEGE CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Events are free, open to the community on campus and online

MiraCosta College is celebratin­g Black History Month in February with discussion­s, open mic events, and a Black Nerds Expo highlighti­ng Black influences on comics, science, technology, engineerin­g and math.

All events are free and open to the community. Reservatio­ns are requested for many of the events. The MiraCosta College Oceanside Campus is at 1 Barnard Drive. Among the offerings:

• “Disrupting Racism Through the Lens of the Arts: From Civil Rights
